Foundation policies

Donation Policy

Our principles for receiving, managing and reporting charitable support.

Donation principles

GROW Golf Foundation welcomes financial and in-kind support that advances its mission and is consistent with its values, legal obligations and safeguarding responsibilities.

Donations must be voluntary, properly recorded, received through an authorised channel and used responsibly for approved charitable, programme or operational purposes.

Official donation channels are not yet published.
Banking, payment-gateway and regulatory details will be added only after formal approval. Donors should not transfer funds to a personal account or an unofficial payment channel.

Restricted and unrestricted donations

Unrestricted donations may be applied where the Foundation determines they will have the greatest mission-related benefit. Restricted donations will be applied to the agreed programme or purpose. If that purpose becomes impracticable or unlawful, the donor will be consulted where reasonably possible.

Acceptance and refusal

The Foundation may decline or return support where the source cannot be reasonably verified; acceptance could involve unlawful activity, fraud, corruption or reputational harm; conditions would compromise independence; or the donation conflicts with our mission, policies or safeguarding responsibilities.

International donations

Foreign donations, grants and cross-border transfers will be accepted only after all required registration, permission, banking and reporting arrangements are in place.

Receipts and refunds

An acknowledgement or receipt will be issued for eligible donations. Donations are generally non-refundable, although a refund may be considered for a duplicate or unauthorised transaction, an incorrect amount, or where the Foundation cannot lawfully accept the funds.

Ethical fundraising

Fundraising communications must be accurate and respectful. We will not exploit a beneficiary’s circumstances, publish personal stories without appropriate consent, exaggerate outcomes or permit improper influence over governance, beneficiaries or procurement.
